I speak for all Malaysians in expressing my admiration for the Queen and the grace, poise and selflessness with which she has carried out her duties during her long reign. She represents the very best of British traits: dignity, resilience and hard work.

We started three guys who haven't played a minute of Division I basketball in this type of environment, and I thought they showed a lot of poise right from the beginning. I thought we competed on every possession right to the end of the game, which was what we had hoped we would do.

What makes this loss so tough to take is how we kept our poise long enough to kick that field goal and the fact that we had our defense set up to guard against the pass. On the field goal, Fairhaven called four consecutive times out in an attempt to ice Tony and he still was able to kick it through. And on that final pass, we had three guys around the receiver. Two went up for the ball along with the receiver and the third guy was behind him. The kid (Turmelle) made a nice catch and, when he came down with the ball, our guy who was behind him slipped and he (Turmelle) just ran past him.

Playing with poise under pressure is something you can't teach.

Paula has played incredibly well during her rookie year and has displayed poise and maturity beyond her years. She has consistently played at the highest level and has set a new performance standard for rookies.
