Ticket Quotations

We have sat down and done the figures, and the result is that there has been an increase of just under 10-per-cent on last year's sales. We're not up in purely money terms, just on ticket sales, but it's good news for the club.

We have no idea how those tickets got out there, but we certainly have no suspicion of any kind of internal source.

This process would be a little less invasive, compared to us calling individuals at home during dinner. Having board members answer calls means they can answer any questions, individuals may have right then about the tickets or the entertainment season.

The only place that I have to be really careful is I don't want people buying tickets to my shows thinking they are going to see Garth Brooks, because he is a stay-at-home dad. He is not coming on tour with me, and I just don't want people to be disappointed.

When Pandora doesn't pay, and bars don't pay, and weddings don't pay, and nobody buys CDs or shirts or concert tickets or lessons, then the musician can't make a living making music.

What we're saying is it's too close to call. There were a handful of tickets left, and we're trying to figure out where they were, if they were singles. Obviously, the computations, we want to make sure we're accurate. There were a handful of seats here and there.

We wrote more tickets this week than I've ever seen on a Super Bowl.
