soul thee ahimsa
Ascribe not to any soul that which thou wouldst not have ascribed to thee, and say not that which though doest not.

The country is the world of the soul, the city is the world of bodies.

Lay not on any soul a load that you would not wish to be laid upon you, and desire not for any one the things you would not desire for yourself.

Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration.
honesty people soul
Beautify your tongues, O people, with truthfulness, and adorn your souls with the ornament of honesty. Beware, O people, that ye deal not treacherously with any one.

Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration. The remedy the world needeth in its present-day afflictions can never be the same as that which a subsequent age may require. Be anxiously concerned with the needs of the age ye live in, and centre your deliberations on its exigencies and requirements.
affection bonds desire good great happiness harm men nations pass peace shall sons unity wars
We desire the good of the world and the happiness of the nations that the bonds of affection and unity between the sons of men should be strengthened... what harm is there in this?... these fruitless strifes, these ruinous wars shall pass away, and the 'Most Great Peace' shall come.
asked display diversion god mere presented theatrical
The Cause of God is not a theatrical display that is presented every hour, of which some new diversion may be asked for every day. If it were thus, the Cause of God would become mere child's play.
near unto verily
Verily He answereth him who prayeth unto Him, and is near unto him who calleth on Him.
affliction ages bright hath method
Through affliction hath His light shone and His praise been bright unceasingly: this hath been His method through past ages and bygone times.
hath regard
The tabernacle of unity hath been raised; regard ye not one another as strangers.
almighty asleep hath knowledge man taught
O king! I was but a man like others, asleep upon my couch, when lo, the breezes of the All-Glorious were wafted over me, and taught me the knowledge of all that hath been. This thing is not from me, but from One Who is Almighty and All-Knowing.
cause discover divine entangled infallible knowledge men mesh neither nor themselves witness
They that are intoxicated by self-conceit have interposed themselves between it and the Divine and infallible Physician. Witness how they have entangled all men, themselves included, in the mesh of their devices. They can neither discover the cause of the disease, nor have they any knowledge of the remedy.
desire entire human race
He Who is your Lord, the All-Merciful cherisheth in His heart the desire of beholding the entire human race as one soul and one body.
