foolish gossip silence
With well doing you may put to silence foolish men.
fire goes gossip strife tale wood
Where no wood is, the fire goes out; so where there is no tale bearer, the strife ceaseth.
close friends-or-friendship gossip man perverse separates
A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends
angry doth gossip north wind
The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
avoid betrays confidence gossip man talks
A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much
