Work has been going on off and on. But there have been a lot of days they couldn't work because of bad weather. It's been delayed several times.
We've used it a lot and have had no problems. The great thing about it is we used 20,000 tires that would have gone to the landfill.
We thought we could get through the day and go back (Thursday night) and fix things right.
This is really unusual. We've had a lot of experience with rubberized asphalt and nothing like this has ever happened.
It's a mystery why one side is fine and other isn't.
After the new bridge opened up...there wasn't any reason to hang on to (the 1927 bridge).
In most places where we are doing any kind of paving, we'll use this as much as we can. It's really been successful.
