This win was big for a lot of reasons. I told the guys that you will only have one opportunity to play on 'Derek Hines Night'. Now we can all look back fondly on this game and know that we came away with a 'W'.

In our league, we want to be the toughest team for anyone to play against, ... My hope is certainly to have this team continue to get better so we will be playing our best hockey come the month of February and lead us into the playoffs.

Being in this position is something we haven't been in.

I'd have to say that the team defense, starting with Brad (Roberts) in goal, has put us in a position to win each game. I also think that we are starting to reap the rewards of scheduling some tough teams at the beginning of the year.
