We played a lot better than we did yesterday, even though we didn't pick up more ground. It was an easier day to play today; it was still cold but less windy. Unfortunately nothing special happened.

I think it was awesome for Brett to have a little individual satisfaction today. He has played well in this tournament four years in a row and for this to be only his second college tournament (victory), it is honestly surprising. Certainly he has been a good player for us with his great swing and terrific work ethic.

We have to play a good round tomorrow to stay in middle of this thing, which we are capable of doing. We haven't had a great day yet; we had two good days. I have a feeling we have a good round left in us.
best carolina felt north proud scared team
We went up there and felt like we were the best team in the field. It's a little disappointing, but I was proud of the effort. At least we scared North Carolina a little bit.

Both of them work very hard on their game. Both of them were outstanding in the classroom, and both of them do the right things most all the time.

kids nice prouder ride time tough
To be real honest, I couldn't be more disappointed, and at the same time I couldn't be prouder of my kids. It's tough to take. My kids are a little dejected right now. It won't be a nice ride home.

We had a couple of train wrecks towards the end of the day. We were playing really well through eight holes. These greens are fast and bent. We are not experienced in that area, so we had some experience to gain today.

We persevered today. We should be successful here on our home course.
bit couple good hoping solid year
We did have a very solid fall, which is a little bit unusual. A couple years ago, we had a real good fall, and that was the year when we had a very good team. So I'm hoping this is a good sign.
best college golf good hearts heck incredible kids played seen tough
It was tough to take. Our kids played their hearts out and played some incredible golf. That was about as good of a shoot-out as I've seen in college golf. It was a heck of a fight. Unfortunately they (Georgia) got the best of us.
ask definitely element guys home outside pride protect tournament wants
There's definitely an element of pride there. Outside the postseason, if you ask our guys which tournament they would like to win, they're probably say this one. I think everyone wants to do well at home and protect the home turf.
