Our hope with this initiative is to establish some cohesion to the existing activities that will allow us to have more impact.

We have existing strengths in engineering and life sciences that we would like to bring together.

There will certainly be new courses in that area. It may also impact the existing interdisciplinary programs, such as the engineering and biology certificate program.

The intent is to hire an individual who can both foster connections with the existing research in engineering and life sciences at Princeton as well as start new research activities and grow in this area.
