You are all making it very hard to go back. My husband is homesick. He wants to go home, and I want to stay here. We are at an impasse.
The Sisters had everything set up with enough supplies for months. There was plenty of food, water, paper goods and so forth. We had everything we needed, so we felt safe staying there.
The hardest thing was leaving our two dogs.
There were about 3,000 people there, including firemen, policemen, nurses and pharmacists. Some of them broke into the University and got medical supplies. They set up a triage unit, and were able to keep the peace intact. We didn't experience the lawlessness they saw in other areas.
