leader mind quiet
When I see things, I speak my mind. But I'm a quiet leader, if anything.
fall three balls
You definitely have to do other things when you know your shot isn't falling. You can't just depend on knocking down the three-ball.
levels teammate comfort
Keep being aggressive, that's what my teammates and my coaches ask me to do. If I see things are going well, I know there's more of a comfort level for me to continue to do that.
three balls easy
The three-ball is an easy shot if you're uncontested, but when they know you can shoot, it's a lot harder to get off.
hands lace balls
It felt smooth coming off my hands. I felt the laces around the ball. It was just all good.
support good-and-bad folks
To the folks that continue to support through ups and downs... good and bad... I can't thank you...
cold happen shooting start
We had a lot of turnovers (11 in the first half) and cold shooting (5-for-27 in the first half), and those are two things you can't let happen to you to start a game.
expected fell guys overall sad season time toward unhappy
Guys are pretty unhappy about what happened. It's sad that we went out that way, but at the same time I think 20-10 ain't bad. We fell off toward the end of the season but overall I think we did some things that no one expected us to do.
downs focusing helped learn ups
The ups and downs have helped us learn what not to do. We're focusing for this tournament.
chance definitely impression iowa ncaa quality saturday selection state teams
It's a chance to make an impression on the NCAA selection committee. We've got two quality teams (Kansas, then Iowa State on Saturday in Boulder) left. If we come out strong, we can definitely make some noise.
clicked knees
It was just my night. I got my knees under me and some things clicked on for me.
