care great hard last league match team
I think it's a great accomplishment for these guys. To match what last year's team did is a hard thing to do. I don't care what league you are in.
both games lose playoffs potential several teams win
I think it is unfortunate for everybody. Both teams have the potential to win several games in the playoffs and it is unfortunate that one of them has to lose in the first round.
backyard best expecting good great seen since size street team
I think it's going to be a backyard brawl and it would be great to get that first 'W' on the board. But it's going to be like a street fight. This is the best JB team I've seen since I've been here (18 years). They've got good size and are physical. So we're expecting a fight.
bigger coaches heart missing shows teammates
He said he didn't want to let down his teammates and coaches by missing the tournament. It just shows you his heart is bigger than he is.
basketball might opportunity player shows special state team
He's a special person and an unbelievable student. He will be part of a basketball team that might have an opportunity to play in the state tournament. That shows what kind of team player he is.
defensive football great last played team three
He was reluctant, obviously, at first. ... He has made a great sacrifice. That was a team thing that Dwayne did, because Dwayne played a lot of football in the last three years as a defensive tackle.
consistency football itself lends lent programs quality seeing teams traditions
That consistency has lent itself to quality football teams and quality programs and traditions that lends itself to seeing what you're seeing this year.
bring confident gold mike mission people team
I think the real mission is to get the right people on this team so Mike can be successful, ... Mike has done this for a long time, and I'm confident he will bring us back a gold medal.
followed good guys last lifting planned proper season seniors team true using
Last season we kind of planned where guys were going to go. Guys followed through by lifting and using proper weight-cutting techniques. All of them have been good seniors this year. It's really been a true team effort.
busy contracts ended goes list men options players possibly question released teams upgrade week
There's no question it's going to be a busy week. You're going to have some released players that had outs in their contracts that are going to be available, you've got players who are out of options that are going to be available, you've got players who ended up being 26th or 27th men on competitive teams that could possibly be an upgrade for us. You're going to see a lot of names, more as the week goes on. Every day the list is going to increase.
athletic ball people played positions spread teams
We wanted to spread them out. We are much more athletic than most teams we play, and when we have played the ball wide, we've always got people who are well-disciplined in their positions back door.
ahead good private teams
We've had really good teams in every sport, we've just never been able to get ahead of the private schools.
bright bunch great learn limit mistakes numbers people team
We've got a bright outlook. It's a great bunch of kids, and they're very competitive. We don't have great numbers this year, and we don't have a (junior varsity) team so we have some people who have to learn pretty quickly. We've got to limit our mistakes and play smart, and I think we'll be OK.
andy aspects catch consistency game gets good hit potential realize team three throw week
Andy didn't throw an 11-4 game. It's a shame. I know it's an oversimplification but there are really three aspects to this game -- you have to hit the ball, throw it and catch it. And this week we haven't been able to put all of those together. Our consistency has to get better. They can be a really good team -- there's a lot of potential there. But when you don't do everything right, every little thing gets magnified. They have to realize how good they can be.
