This was an excellent high school game. Josh Berry and Woody Orne had great games.
Josh is obviously someone we want at the line in that situation. Our free throws tonight were the best they've been all year. At this point, you go with the guys who got you here.
In the past, people have been nominated that did not know anything about the job or the time involved.
We struggled at free throws all year long. In the end, our kids stepped up and got some huge rebounds for us.
I thought he really had to work for his shots. He's just a heck of a player. Those kinds of players are going to come through in the big games.
It seemed like he missed his first 50 shots. Then he came through. That's what you do with a shooter. One thing a shooter can't do is think.
My boys hung in there, persevered and did good things.
We set the pace by our shooting in the first half. With a team like West Liberty, who wants a win, you can't let them hang around.
We've had our share of close games this year. All of our games have been like that. I think that helps us in the tournament.
That one where five roads come together (North Eighth and E streets), to me, that's the worst, But you never know who gets to go next.
