I did a total of 66 paintings and here I was finally finding the way I wanted to paint.
He was depending on me more. I didn't know if I could do it.
He had become like a family member. He didn't have anybody else here and I didn't have anybody else here, so it was a strong bond.
It was a way for me to hang on to my identity. For me, during this period of my life, it became a form of retaining my identity.
