He spends a lot of time training. He just trains hard, sets his goals, and works hard to get there. He also goes to a lot of high-level tournaments in the spring and summer.
I want them to enjoy the week because it is a great accomplishment to make it to state. Each kid has to wrestle his best and if we can walk away with that we will be happy. As far as team standings go, we will be where we will be.
He's just a sophomore and he's already right up there with the best in the state. He's placed twice at the state meet, but that's not where he wants to be. As soon as this past season was over, he started working on next season.
