awful emotions feeling happened lose mixed next players team
I have mixed emotions. We were right there and it's an awful feeling to lose and not get that next step. You just try to tell these young players that everything that happened before what we feel right now is what this team is.
class fills immediate join needs next season thrilled
Our incoming class for next season fills some immediate needs and we're thrilled to have each of them join our program.
felt win
We are thrilled, certainly. We felt like we could win games, and I think that is probably what got us through the end.
career julie surprise
Julie has been up and down during her career and it's no surprise that her up times have really benefited our team.
absolute consistency deserving four given impact kim performance special
The absolute consistency and performance Kim has given us for four years is very, very unique. It's special and deserving of recognition. It really indicates the impact she's had throughout.
committee selection serious step
That would be our best-case scenario. It would be historic. It would be another step forward. (The selection committee is) at least going to have to give us a serious look.
shutting talking terms
Langhorne pretty much had her way. We are what we are in terms of our size. We're not talking about shutting her down.
gotten himself kids positive surprises
There are no surprises with anything positive that he's done up there. He's gotten himself some hard-nosed competitive kids and done the right thing with them.
alike easy friend neither personal somebody sort trust
What you sort of see in a friend is somebody that you can trust. Neither one of them is egotistical. Neither one of them is about themselves. They're easy to be around and it was easy for them, as I see it, to become friends. They're very much alike in just their personal characteristics . . . It's easy to see why they're friends.
simple
This team's been really resilient. They've never panicked. It's really as simple as that.
chip enthusiasm love thinking
There's no chip on our shoulder. We really love to play. We try to keep thinking in these terms: Play for each other. Play because you love it. When you play, show the enthusiasm you have for the game.
credit phenomenal
There's no one that can take credit but them. They've done a phenomenal job.
coming great nice people program saying support
We've had some nice e-mails coming in to our program from their fans, just saying they're Lobo people but they're going to be here to support us. And that's fair. That's a great response.
comparing people playing plays thinking until
Everybody, in the end, plays the same games. So really, until it's over, there's no comparing where people are at. We have kind of done well just playing from behind. So, I think we'll just keep thinking of it in those terms.
