They found a way to win and that's what it comes down to. We are used to scoring in the 50s and 60s, and tonight we were in the 40s again, which was huge for us to win that way. Some of our better shooters had a hard time. But my team responded well with other people stepping up again.
We missed a ton of shots, easy shots.

It's tough when you are waiting for the other girl to score, but I thought my team came out and played very calm. It was loud in there. After the 1,000th, (Griffiths) probably felt relief. She got a couple in a row and it was a big momentum swing.

She made her mind up to go to the basket tonight. She was more confident driving to the basket and that made a big difference. We've been wanting her to take over a game like this all season because she can do that.
This was a big game for them mentally after losing to them three times last year.
