It is a momentum thing. When a team gets momentum, and is feeling happy, it's amazing how many things can go its way.

We played with a lot of enthusiasm. We played with a lot of energy. Defensively, we found another gear. We passed well and when we didn't, we pursued well.

We served aggressively enough that sometimes, it was hard for them to get her the ball. We knew that we were not stronger than her, but we were maybe quicker, so we wanted to get the ball up and down fast - because she's a very good blocker, too - so we went with the first tempo. Breckenridge is a really good team and our girls stepped up and played really well in the finals.

I knew they were out there, that's for sure. They were ranked No. 1 most of the year too. I didn't know until today if we belonged that high. After playing as well as we did, I think that might have been a good spot for us.
