Howard Rosenbergis a retired TV critic for the Los Angeles Times. He worked there for 25 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Criticism. Rosenberg coined the term mixed martial arts, or MMA, in the inaugural Ultimate Fighting Championship event at UFC 1 in November 1993.
