We're going to have to buy machines for 335 precincts. But before we do, our goal was to get as many people (with disabilities) here as possible.

If we are able to conduct it by mail, there would be no polling locations. Running parallel elections, one in the mail and one at the polls, is very expensive.

To be honest, we've had no complaints from people with disabilities about being unable to vote with our current voting system.

Chances are not great that all counties in California, including ours, will be able to get enough machines.
