The thing that killed us is our fifth runner. We're waiting over a 1:40 between our fourth and fifth runner. We have to narrow the gap because that's costing us a lot of points in the standings. We're looking for a fifth runner to step up and pull us through.

Every coach keys in on Joe and he was getting pushed around his first two years by stronger players. Now Joe is the one pushing people around and muscling people off the ball. If he can control the middle and set the other kids up, I think we can score a lot of goals this year.

We played very hard until the end of the game. We won our last two league games to end the season on a good note. They never quit playing and I am very proud of my kids.

We couldn't go anywhere all summer long without people wanting to talk about that Rogers game, no matter where we went. We got a lot of nice comments from coaches, players and people throughout northern Michigan. They were proud of the job we did and the way we represented northern Michigan.
