I talked to my dad last night and he said to keep shooting, that the shots were going to fall. I was just listening to my dad.

We're taking everybody's best shot right now. We're playing good basketball as a team and most everybody that comes in, we're going to have to take their best shot. We're just going to have to come out and play every night.

Defense is always something I take pride in ever since I was little. The whole team has improved. I've always been a defensive player. I take more pride in my defense than my offense. Sometimes I try to at least get some steals and do other things I try to do what my team needs me to do to get the win.

It was the defense. The coach gave us a halftime speech, more or less to get us motivated on defense, to play harder. We did a good job of sharing the ball and took some great shots.

That's the beauty of it. Nobody gave us a chance, but we believed in ourselves.

It kind of took our focus off the game a little bit. But we got it back in the second half and came out and played better basketball.
