We were always looking around for cottonmouth, rattlesnakes and alligators.
That is why we are working with 44 partners from 12 European countries, which means almost all the groups that have studied these questions on our continent. This will enable us to compile a kind of super European database.
It really kept us going when people would cheer as we entered a community and tell us how much they appreciated what we were doing. Wherever we went, people stopped and either saluted or gave us the thumbs up as a special thanks for what we were doing to help them.
