O'Reilly has gone through this and is well drilled at it. They know they'll get the best shot from us and the best shot every time out.
That's the reality of it. Northwest happens to be the team that gets the first shot.
We just have to make sure we play good, fundamental basketball Friday night and see what happens. Northwest's not too bad, either.
Probably this year was the most successful group I've worked with in terms of watching players come together as a group. They were able to grow and understand how to function together as one heartbeat.
It's in my blood. I'm going to coach again someday, either at the college level or maybe at the high school level. But that won't happen for at least a year or so.
I believe in Northwest and it's very difficult to walk away from it. Sometimes in life, you have to walk away from things you love to advance yourself and move on.
The Trinity game is definitely something I'll always remember.
