Our major patrons are local residents, many who come to a show again with friends.
We have been working the past two years on several options which we will be weighing in making our decision.
We'd have to analyze that. It would be very challenging to us financially. If you gross $1.5 million to $2 million in ticket sales (annually), expenses could be darn close to that. That wouldn't be profitable.
That's not what we do. We're operating a theater like they do in New York. We're not a nonprofit. We're commercial. We make it or break it on ticket sales. We feel like we created the long-run (theatrical show) in San Diego.
