I suspect the Tampa folks will both handle their opponents - not to be some kind of a homer.
There is a tremendous problem in entering a race with little more than four months before the primary, unless you have dramatic statewide name recognition.
This has all the makings of a Tampa versus Tampa race between two very good candidates.
For fundraising, it's Boca or Fort Lauderdale - particularly for her as a New York senator, with all the retirees. There are more center-to-left Democrats in those areas. Bay area Democrats tend to be center to right.
It's hard to judge anybody probably from Reagan on. It's probably hard to judge even Carter, although we're moving in that direction. I would say within the last 25 years (is difficult) in particular, because events that affected those individuals are still playing out.
