We need to prioritize. We have a lot of projects out there and we need to decide which ones are most important to the community.
None of us do this for the money. But, I've asked for this to be placed on the agenda because I think it's timely and it needs to be approved within the confines of the budget process.
When we initially proposed this purchase to the public everyone showed strong support. The addition to the recreation fee might be $125, it might be less. Right now we're just getting ready and collecting input from the community so we are prepared for the transaction to go through.
