When we were making that run at the end, you could feel it. You can't really describe it, but you know there's so many people who want your season to keep going. It's an inspiration. You want to play for yourself, but you want to play for them, too.
credit joe jog run teams
They do it 100 percent. They don't jog up and down the floor. A lot of teams jog to get into position. They don't jog, they run and that's a credit to Joe and the things he's done with this team.
expecting runners
I've had runners come to me expecting to get something. They get something all right: hard-ass work.
pulled runs surprised
I'm not surprised we pulled back that quick. That's our team. We make runs like that and we've been doing it all year.
depth develop experience future gained guys hopefully keeping late learned trying valuable
Our backups are still very young, and hopefully they gained some valuable experience for the future on keeping a lead. We are trying to develop some depth for late in the season; our guys are just very young and inexperienced. Hopefully they learned some things tonight.
bar basically break couple establish past records
I think we have been able to break and establish some records over the past couple of years. We have basically established a new bar of excellence.
fact responsibility student
I think we have a responsibility as student athletes. For those who are on scholarship, it's about you appreciating the fact that you are being rewarded.

I think a lot of it is drive. It's the want, it's the hunger, it's the desire all balled up, and not accepting defeat. There have been times when you do come up short and all you can expect out of yourself is to put the right emotions into anything you are doing and you can be willing to accept the results.

I saw it one day when he landed and he almost flipped it over. I think it got caught in the wind or something.

Our kids just got better and better. We really peaked at the right time. I hope we see Calhoun County again next year because that would probably mean that we've made it deep into the playoffs.
game guys understanding
Our guys are making so many strides. They're understanding the game better. ... But they're still learning.

It came down to them getting that rebound. With only three seconds left and us out of timeouts, we were pretty much out of it at that point.

I think it's just a desperate attempt because ain't nobody looking for him, and nobody really expects to see him.
