We're sending more kids off to college than we ever have before ... it's one of our biggest success stories. But look how many of them never get past their freshman year. They're just not ready for it.
The people in Indiana clearly care about their public schools.
People notice things like cutbacks. They do notice, even if they don't have school-aged children. They really are paying attention.
We really need a system where all the pieces fit together.
A strong, effective building principal is worth their weight in gold.
I doubt they are as willing as they are telling us, though.
