When you give a team like Crowley six runs, and you only have four hits, that equals a loss.
It's a much better route through the playoffs if you finish second. It's been a long time since a team around here finished second it's very exciting.
We've lost our last two so we have to get back on track quick. We have to get that feeling back before the playoffs start.
All we need to do, to come back, is to beat Crowley and Alvarado to finish the first half of district (play) and then win all five games in the second half. Our goal all along is to make the playoffs. And that remains our goal.
