Simply put, you put your gloves on and you've got the pipes, or as I call them, the sucking tubes, and it gets everything out.
People love to throw grease down (the drain). Bacteria doesn't break down grease, so it turns hard and doesn't go away. You shouldn't throw any type of grease down the drain.
You always want to have a little left in there.
Pulling the hoses is pretty tough. It's pretty hard if you're not used to this type of work.
It's not really dirty and it doesn't really stink either. The grease traps are worse (than the septic tanks). People think it's a dirty job but I'll tell you this, I'd rather do this than be on a hog farm.
(Cleaning septic tanks) is really not that bad. I've smelled much worse.
