I was very pleased with that. We've been working a lot on passing and making good cuts to the ball.

Some games are like that. You can even out-shoot your opponent and lose. I thought in the second half, we dominated. We had one lapse where we let them get the ball in. We definitely put pressure on them, but we just didn't make the connections we had to make.

I have a very experienced defense. I'll be looking for strong senior leadership and guidance back there.
four great job key middle player year
She has been key for us. She's a four year varsity player who does a great job controlling that middle and distributing the ball. She did very well.

We're going to go game by game right now. But our first goal is to score more goals this season.
advantage coming graduated plan speed year
We graduated a lot of kids, but we have a lot coming back. And the one thing we have this year is a lot of speed and we plan to use that to our advantage this season.

Vanessa has been a very good senior leader. She broke up a bunch of those corners today.

Offensively I'd say we had control of the ball the majority of the time. The kids went to the ball, they really hustled and they really wanted it.
division glad sweet win
I'm glad we got this win today. It's an MVL win and it's a division I win, so it was very sweet today.
effort next physically pleased three tough walking
I'm very pleased with the effort today, especially walking into next week. We have three tough games, so physically it's going to be a tough week.
gave kids lost proud
I'm very proud of them. My kids never gave up. They never lost their cool. That was important - not to get down.
