allowed came careless game hang late opportunity penalty played skated tie took
We came out and played well, skated well, we generated a lot of opportunities, we just didn't finish. We let them hang around. We took a careless penalty late that allowed them the opportunity to tie the game up.
advantage challenge fired game good knew maintain movement pace playoffs puck several short skated sure took
We wanted to go on the playoffs on a roll. This was a big game for them (Carolina). We knew they'd be fired up. Our challenge was to keep the shifts short and make sure we could maintain a good pace in the game. Our puck movement was excellent, we skated real well and took advantage of several turnovers.
game needed skated trouble
Our game was back where we needed it. We really skated well. They had trouble with our speed.
