We're getting very good. Offensively, we're getting more scoring from our bench and our starters besides Quigley.
She's a shooter. It's been a great experience here for her to play with other scorers as well.
She's one of the most underrated players in the league. Even when she wasn't scoring in the first half, she was the source of most their points.
She's a competitor and she was disappointed. It's the same mentality all our athletes take.
She really has matured a lot. She's developed into a fine player.
What won (Saturday's game) was the opportunity to play North Dakota for a third time. The players want to get back at UND. It was willpower that did it.
I think some of the North Dakota fans already had their reservations made out in Arkansas. They were 34-0. There was a crowd of nearly 3,000 people there, and we maybe had 30 of those. Everybody thought we were going to lose. Everybody but us.
I wasn't surprised in the least she came back (after the injury). Sascha will go through 17 brick walls and come back. She will always be there for you and was one of the best point guards we ever had.
We didn't come out and play real well in the first half versus UNO. In the second half we dominated.
To be 34-0, they had a target on their backs all season. We played a lot of the season with a target on our backs and it wasn't easy. It's easier for come in as a lower seed like us. I don't recommend it, but it takes the pressure off.
What tremendous leaders those two are. On and off the court, the things they do are spectacular, and they don't get the limelight. It's easy to coach when you have players like that (whom) you don't have to worry about. They lead by example.
Erika still hasn't reached her potential. She keeps improving and gaining confidence every day. Her defense keeps getting better and better, and it seems like every year she adds a new move offensively. She's just a junior, but I'm getting a lot of calls about her already.
I've seen tape of Shaw and they love to shoot the three. Their three guards shoot the three more than we shot them as a team.
Sascha organizes the guards and April organizes the posts for us. April is a very good defensive player. She'll get the toughest post in every game we play.
This is an oncoming team. They're very capable of knocking some teams off in the tournament.
They made it tough on Erika at times. But, she made it tough on herself, too. You think of all the pressure that's been on her. It affected her (Thursday). You saw a piece of a young lady who tried so hard and it didn't go her way. It was not one of her best nights.
They played very well, and they played extremely hard. But I thought they were in the (regional) tournament anyway. The conference championship - or the opportunity to play for it - would have been nice.
They have a very good basketball team. They gave us trouble defensively and offensively. But St. Cloud State has a pretty good basketball team, as well.
They had a lot to play for - if they were on the bubble - I thought they were in anyway. They just played really well. For us, the conference championship trophy would've been nice, or at least the chance to play for it.
It's really fun for them to say that they helped build this program. Both of them are just top-notch people on the court, off the court, in their majors in everything.
It's so nice to be able to stay another day.
In the second half we played much better defense. We were able to get our transition game going. I thought that (UMD) played a great game, but we took advantage of them not having Dietz.
