I'm just thinking about winning again. That's what I want first and foremost.
comfort confidence cut played putter saturday spring stretch summer swing
I had that stretch in the spring where everything was going right but then in the summer my swing got out of whack and confidence in my putter went away. It has been that kind of year. If I make the cut then I have played well on Saturday and Sunday. Just getting there is a comfort because I feel like I'm kind of a closer.

I had a couple of chances late and didn't make the putts, but you can't be disappointed with 65 around here.

If you're playing well, you like any course, that's the truth. If you come in with command over the ball and putt well, you can play anywhere. But as far as on paper, it suits my game well.

If you could have it both ways, you'd want dry fairways and soft greens. But it's set up like a major. It's supposed to test every part of your game.

There's so many great players over here, it's hard to succeed. You've got to get in line. That's why you don't see many guys out of college. It's hard to get out there. There's a couple hundred guys just as good as you.

You can't be disappointed with a 65 around here. This is a major type course you know everyone is going to have some foul ups.

I did have a little sand flying, but I looked up and saw the first bounce, ... I thought that could be close. Then you can tell by the crowd; you can hear them kind of gasp. So I saw it go in. I just didn't know what to do, didn't know what to think. I looked at my caddie and he said, 'Hey, good shot.' I've been four feet off the ground ever since.
easier fix full pitching positive putting swing today
For me, the full swing is easier to fix than my putting or my pitching or chipping. So today was a big positive for me.
