There are a lot of challenges for people who are low income. There are significant resources being put in by drug companies, and millions of consumers are benefiting from these programs. This is just a good excuse for them to get out of those programs.
We're certainly glad the governor found a good use for him. With his talent and experience, he's the perfect guy for the job.
There are lots of people who have insurance through their employers, and they inadvertently sign up for these plans. Then, they lose their employers' insurance.
They don't need any additional burdens of discrimination against them for other lines of insurance.
