(Webb) blocked a shot and sent it back into the stands after play had already stopped on a personal foul. It was an accident; he didn't mean to do it. But the call on him really fired our crowd up, which got us going.

Playing on the road, I was very tickled.

I think the lessons we learned this weekend were great, even though we didn't win.
biggest concerned game good hit pack plan shoot
That was the biggest thing we were concerned about ? their size. Our game plan was to pack it and try to make them shoot from the perimeter. Then they hit those, too. That's what makes a good team.
athletes blended good precedent team
She's blended with our other athletes to make them better. She's also set a precedent that, if you're going to be good you're going to have to work, you have to get better, you have to be a team player.
balanced came court forced offensive patient strong trouble
Bethel came out strong and executed a very patient offense. We forced too much on the offensive end of the court and had trouble with their balanced scoring.

There was just a lack of defensive effort.

It was a lack of defensive intensity. But I would like to praise the intensity of the bench in the fourth quarter, they had desire.

We came out too passive on defense, that's how we dug a hole. But I was pleased with the guys' efforts down the stretch.

We sat our starters on Saturday and got them in the mood that defense is important again. We're a team that really relies on hard-nosed defense.

The two playoff games we'll face can be won but the guys must play defense ? bottom line. That's got to be our focus in the playoffs.
