Martin Brodeur
Martin Pierre Brodeuris a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender and the assistant general manager of the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. In his 21-season tenure with the New Jersey Devils, he won three Stanley Cup championships and five Eastern Conference titles in 17 postseason campaigns. Losing a game like tonight is a killer. These are four-point games. We have six games left against these guys. Who knows, those points might determine a playoff spot.
You can't be happy about losing a game. You have to look at the bright side. We competed well against a team that we can afford to give two points to and we took one away from them.
It's a rivalry and they're playing hard. We're not happy they're not doing well against the rest of the league. They're taking points away from us.
The Senators are a team we are looking up at in the standings. They beat a lot of teams in our division. Any points we get against them is a plus.
Right now, we don't look at the division. We're looking more at our conference, where we stand. Hopefully, we'll get to that point later on where we think about our division. But, if you look, our record in our division is not that good. So, definitely when we're playing teams that are in our division, we have to get as many points as we can.
We don't always do it. When we make a big point of doing it, the success always comes.
It's amazing. Just take the new year. We were able to get 18 points in 21 days. That's unbelievable. I'm just really excited about it, just to get back in the thick of things and put some teams behind us. We've just got to try to push that envelope forward.
In two days we gained four points on teams. It's a great feeling. All year we didn't come back too much when pulling the goalie. This was nice.

Our weekend, to gain these four points, it's a great feeling.
I think we're definitely not sharp as far as my game and everybody defensively. I think it's a combination of a lot of things why defensively you're not successful. I don't think you can pinpoint it to one person. As a group, we're just not sharp and have been playing the price a lot.
I think we'll surprise a lot of people.
I think we'll be really fast, we have a lot of speedy forwards. I think we're going to be big like other teams, but I think it will be exciting to watch when everybody learns to play with the new rules.
I think we're pretty happy to get out of here with one point.
