You have heard the same talks and speeches that he's given for the past five year, but now, since we're moving deeper into the playoffs, his wisdom and his experience are really coming out. It's really fresh for us because we've never been in that situation. There's a lot of wisdom and experience there.
We're been practicing with the new balls and it kind of made my arm sore because they're a little different.
We're ready to go. If the game was tomorrow, we've got the game plan.
We know you guys are new, we don't care, and we're not going to get ultra-conservative. We believe in you guys and we're going to let you make plays.
We know what needs to happen to get it done. We'll see you in September.
There are definitely enough resources of people that have been there. Even guys on our team that have been there and played in this game, and I guess you just have to listen and try to learn what you can from those types of people.
We appreciate the fact that we get to play at home.
Shoot, I kind of think we are still in shock, really.
My teammates and I have just seen a glimpse of what it would be like to win a world championship. And as hard as it is right now -- 'cause it's hard right now -- we know what needs to happen to get it done, and I can promise you that we are all going to do everything we can do to get it done next year. Thank you for your support this year!
I was telling someone that this was the best I felt before a game, ... Tonight was great. I'm happy that the drive went so well.
I wouldn't say we didn't miss a beat, it's not the same with those guys out. But we all had confidence in those guys that they would play well ... and those guys played great.
I would say I'm very surprised it went down the way it did. I thought it was a possibility, but when I left for vacation, I definitely didn't think I would come back as not a member of the Titans. But we had a difference of the opinion somewhere along the way.
More than anything, you're just trying to execute each play as it's called and have good tempo, have good rhythm, have good enthusiasm.
