night
This was a big night for me and a big night for this team.
area blocked deeper falling forward front grain house protect seemed slot sticks sunday work
They seemed to protect their house ? in front of the net, the slot area ? and they blocked a lot of shots. Take it with a grain of salt. We know we have to come back to work on Sunday and look forward because we're falling in deeper and deeper right now. We're squeezing the sticks a little too tight.
both corners front grind
It was an all-out effort, from Jean-Marc (Pelletier, the goalie) all the way out. We wanted to grind them out, outwork them in the corners and outwork them in front of both nets.
attention focus gets hard lie locker room struggling win
It gets your attention at three. I'm not going to lie to you or the fans. We've been working hard and we know the focus in this locker room is there. We're just struggling to get a win right now.
happy lesson
Am I happy we got the two points? You bet. Am I happy with how we got them? Not really, but it's a lesson learned.
