WorldCom and AT&T basically have a duopoly on Fortune 500 customers.
I would love to see AT&T break up. It's a great move and would create value for the shareholders.
Most carriers could really use some capital right now, because many still have to build out their networks.
The fact that they can double their voice capacity is a claim you're not hearing much from other carriers.
The fact that AT&T is selling at $2,500 means these subscribers are in the outskirts or AT&T needs the money.
They have established a very good brand, but is it worth any money?
AT&T still has a lot of leverage because Comcast can't tender for anything.
