There is etiquette in golf, but it's not any harder to learn than what to do at a dinner party. Actually, it's probably easier. And these days, there are a lot more women out there than there used to be. It's not like when I was young. I was always the only girl on the range.

I've always wanted to win in my hometown.

I needed to grow up and do things all adults do. It was time to stop having everything spoon fed to me. It was about being independent.

I plan my golf outfits for the tournaments, I recycle some for the practice rounds, but I always have new ideas for my golf attire, and I like to dress nice after the rounds, so I have to bring all my heels. It's terrible. The worst part about being on tour is living out of a suitcase.

I wasn't enjoying golf much. I was kind of getting a little bit tired, I was getting a little bit moody, and I was constantly getting angry. That's not me. And when I saw that I knew I had to change.

Nobody ever wants to have change, that's for sure. But when it's good, it's really good.

I have definitely gotten longer. I have new muscles and my golf swing has changed, so once in a while I can hit one pretty far out there. But it's learning how to use those muscles on a consistent basis.

I don't know about overshadowing. She just has raised the bar for women's golf and she's made it a better sport right now. I have a lot of respect for Annika, but I am not intimidated by her.

There is a huge difference, especially in the rough. The ball either sits up or sits down and have to hit a 58-degree wedge out. It is just one of those things. Like Natalie said, it is a great golf course and a very good test of golf. You are going to have to hit demanding shots out there. You can't just hit it anywhere and you have to be on your A game.

There are so many lessons in life that can be learned through golf. I am not afraid to say that I am still learning some of them and probably will continue for some time.

I think about what I've accomplished and my career. I care about how many wins I have and whether I'm accomplishing my goals.

We're very good friends. A lot of people misjudge her. She's younger than everyone. But if she's bringing more attention to women's golf and more money with higher purses, that's great for me.

They've been the best parents in the world, ... I mean, they have given up everything for me. Moving across the country just for my golf. I couldn't have done this without them.

It's 10 times different than the Curtis Cup. The Curtis Cup was great, and that gave me an opportunity to feel what it's like to play on a team, but this is so much more emotional, and gallery-wise and fan-wise, it's just so different.

I took second in an LPGA event, and it really wasn't (treated) as that much of a big deal. But I guess I think it's better for me to hang under the radar, and every once in a while, I pop up.

It's hard to take something back like that when I look at my team and see there are 11 others and we're all one. It's hard not to think positive and think competitive, ... It's unreal, the depth of our team. With that, I can only think positive things.

That's pretty remarkable what she does. I got to play with her (Tuesday), and she's such a good kid. She's fearless on the golf course; she just steps up and hits it and hits it again.

That's the hardest thing after a year like I had last year. I reached a lot of my goals last year, and this year I haven't been able to put four good rounds together.

That just totally helped our momentum, it helped her, she did a great job on the next hole. The first couple of holes were a little shaky out there for us, Annika hit some really good shots but I missed a couple of putts early on.

It's been hectic. It's different. I used to kinda get looked at. Now, it's more of, like, a stare. It's nice. You work hard and you want to win. If this is what it's going to be like, fine with me. I'll take it.

It's difficult out there. The wind was swirling. There are a lot of birdies out there, but you have to eliminate your mistakes.

It's definitely something that's not written down in a book that you can read about, ... I couldn't do what I do without my parents.
