So far so good. We've been in control of the games so far. We expected it to be a fantastic game today. We knew we had to play well coming in.

Obviously, we feel very good. The guys showed guts today. It was a tough game to play. We've been playing well all week, everybody's been throwing the rock good. Today, we came out and just did it again.

My heart was going 100 miles an hour. I gave it to my sweepers to bring home. It's a shot we've done hundreds or thousands of times.

My family was, and is, a curling family.

Hopefully, this will be a great thing. Hopefully, it will help grow the sport. It feels very good right now.

He just shook it off and played the way we knew he could play.

It felt a lot different than the Opening Ceremony. It was a little more festive rather than feeling like the ending of the Games. It was a strange feeling to be closing down, but because we've been here so long, we're ready to go home.

I struggled with the ice a little bit. Don't get me wrong, they played well ... and made the ones they had to make and we missed a couple and that usually makes the difference.

We could hear the Swiss yelling and stuff. We expected that.

We actually had a shoot at a pizza parlor the other day. They had me in the kitchen making pizza.

We were shocked to see this many people when we got into the terminal. The opening ceremony in the Olympics was unbelievable, but this is a pretty close second.

We got kind of a break on a miss by him. The real thing was his miss more than my make. The fact that we stole two points was big for us.

This game was why we were here, you know?

A medal of any color is good. That definitely would help us get over it. I'm sure a victory on Friday would make us feel a little bit better.

It's fantastic for them. It's fantastic for their country. Any time a country with as few curlers as Italy beats Canada, it's a big deal. It's pretty hard not to call them a powerhouse.

It was funny to see. If you were to ask me if I had ever seen that at curling, I'd say no.

It's a confidence thing. When you're throwing it good, it gives you more confidence. The more we play ... the better guys know the ice.

That's our No. 1 goal, to get people out there and trying it. Any kind of exposure that the game can get is going to help. That's why we see an explosion with the Olympics, because people see it on TV, they watch, they call their local clubs and they want to participate.

It's starting to sink in now. It's good to be home.

It's amazing now versus (2003) ... especially for me as a first-time skip. A couple of world championships and the Olympics - it's amazing how much easier it is to be comfortable. Everybody's a little bit looser and more relaxed.

It's very much too early for that. This was an important win for us. It was a chance to bring them back to us. But more important, we have two losses and we've got to win some games.

It will take us a little time to recover. It?s probably not bad that we have a day off (today).

They were ahead of us in the standings, so it was good to bring them back toward the field.

That's always been something for me to chase. Once I started to play competitively, it was a whole new experience.

I just told him to stay strong. It's a pretty common thing. But you can't keep thinking about bad throws. He just shook it off and played the way we knew he could play.

He's extremely strong. And he's been playing great.

The key for us is to win the close ones. We're still in a good position for the rest of the way.

The guys played good. I didn't have to make a whole lot of tough ones today. They just did what they've been doing throughout the whole competition and the amount of time we've been together.

Ah, I'll get over it. We've lost before.
