caught conditions knew played players team tempo warned
Doncaster played very well. They started like a team who knew they had to win. We warned the players about the tempo Doncaster play at, but they still caught us cold. I thought they played the conditions better than us in the first half.
brought chelsea cup fact feathers few game intentions lads last pulled rested
If we had pulled it off it would have been the all-time Cup upset. The last thing I said to them before the game was to ruffle a few feathers and let Chelsea know they have been in a game. I think it was their intentions to keep those lads rested for Wednesday. The fact that they brought them on indicated how well we had done.
apart lucky okay
We have been pretty lucky with the injuries. Apart from Marino Keith and Stephen Hunt, who have been out long-term, we've done okay so far.
account enjoyed given good ourselves pulled
We wouldn't have enjoyed it if we hadn't given a good account of ourselves and we did that. If we'd pulled it off, it would have been the all-time up upset.
budget budgets fifth round simply staying
We've overachieved simply by staying in this division. We budget to go out in the first round and now we're in the fifth round.
against chelsea draw good great means million opportunity pitch players pounds pull test themselves three waiting
We've been waiting three years to pull out a good draw and Everton or Chelsea will be fantastic. Off the pitch it means about a million pounds for us. On the pitch it's a great opportunity for my young players to test themselves against Premiership opposition.
