If we found someone drinking underage, they would have been cited, but that wasn't the case (with Berryman). The information I have at this time also says (Berryman) was not involved in the fight.

Our community resource officers are heavily involved in this -- our school resource officer, our detective division -- (in) which individuals come out on different weekends.
They wanted our presence in those areas. We have calls right now from off-campus parties that they do get out of hand, or if they try to close them down late in the morning hours, they will call the police department for officers to come and assist.
I think that if the penalties were enhanced, certainly the general public would know the severity of not obeying the law.
