drive good gordon hard jeff mattered michael
You know what, that was a pretty good deal, the whole thing, ... During the race, I didn't even think about it. It wouldn't have mattered if it was Jeff Gordon or Michael Schumacher, I was going to drive as hard as I could.
busy contend cup dodge easy forward goals honors looking rookie series target transition victory year
The transition to the NEXTEL Cup Series isn't going to be an easy one, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. It's going to be a busy year, but our goals are to contend for rookie of the year honors and also get the Target Dodge into Victory Lane.
favorite grip lost rained rubber tough washed
This is a tough place. It's lost a lot of grip over the years. It rained and washed all the rubber off, so it was really tough today. Right now it's not my favorite track.
coming fuel running short

adapt bit easier run

asked caution laps three
They asked me if I was still there (on the radio) because I went three laps under caution and didn't say a word.
cool
It's real life. If you make a mistake, it's a lot more costly. It's a cool track. I like it.
cool georgia guy hometown left run
I'm pretty much the only Georgia guy left out there as of right now, so it's going to be pretty cool to try to run well for the hometown fans,
lost race
I'll tell you what, if I'd have lost that race I'd have been sick, that's for sure,
