five game last mentality playoff separated situation tunnel type
I think the thing that has separated us is that we feel like we've been in a playoff game the last five games. That's been our mentality because it's been do or die. Everyone has had tunnel vision. No blinders, no distractions. It's the same type of situation this week.

We're a team. That's the key--every guy, on offense, defense and special teams--we all play as a team. Everybody came together and did our part. You want to make sure everything is clicking at this time of year. Right now, it feels like we're running on all cylinders.

biggest division doubt home ourselves spend thick time win
Definitely, no doubt about it, this was the biggest game. Not only did we keep ourselves in the thick of things, but it's a division game. It's in our home place, it's the Giants. What other way would we want to have it? To get a win the day before Christmas, go home, spend time with our families.
coaches count doubt instant talk team teammates trust
That's what we always talk about--your teammates being able to trust you, your coaches being able to trust you. I don't ever want there to be an instant where they doubt they can count on me. Especially being a nine-year vet--you want to be accountable. You have to be accountable to the team and yourself.

Silent Assassin,' that's pretty much what he is. Because he's coming out of nowhere. He's consistent. You can depend on him. People had a question mark at that position after Antonio Pierce left. He's stepped in and done an excellent job.
