We didn't set the tone and we got down big. I thought we had wide open shots, and we couldn't make them. We stayed with it, but just got down too far, and they had a nice level of comfort. We didn't play as well as we needed to play to win this game.
bench consistent guys learning needed people
We didn't have a lot of people on the bench and we needed the young guys to give us consistent minutes. They're learning and they're getting better.

I grow 10 heirloom varieties in my garden, but I get mine locally from Green Acres on Route 51 near Elizabeth. I just wish they had full slices of bread here so I could have a few tomato sandwiches and really enjoy the day.

Life as we know it in New Orleans and Tulane has changed. We have leaned on each other and gotten support. And there may be a stronger resolve than there has ever been.

When I look at Coach Knight and Pat and obviously Coach Sutton and Sean, I mean, you're talking about two guys that have grown up at the feet of two of the greatest coaches ever. It's just a natural progression.

We'll have a day to see what we're going to do. How he mixes with everyone, I guess we'll find out. This changes our team dramatically.

We'll look back and kick ourselves and think about what could have been. You have to give Atlanta credit, they fight hard and play well. They earned the victories against us. We haven't played our best against them, but they've had something to do with that as well.

What's haunted us all year is our ability to score goals. I thought that was a game where we could have gone up by certainly at least two, maybe three.

I guess he's on a different page. I ran well yesterday and I ran well today. I don't know anything about it.

I'm going to do what I can to win, and if it's not good enough, they'll tell me, ... But there's a big difference. This year, if we do well and I can get this team to win, it's my choice what I want to do at the end of the year. It's nobody else's. This isn't just a one-way street here.

I'm never satisfied. They're doing well, but we've got a ways to go. Our goal is to get back to the final four. We finished second last year and we want to do at least that well. We have to have some experience under pressure before sectionals. We've had it at spots, but team pressure like against Center Grove is the best thing for us.
