There are two ways by which knowledge can be imbibed- from an able guru and self study.

Lazy people always dwell in poverty and are subjected to constant failure.

Laziness begets nothing but failures and lost opportunities.

Scriptures are invaluable source of knowledge because it is only through their study that the mind is filled with good thoughts. Good thoughts help us in leading a virtuous life.This is the sure way for growth of the mind and also to acquire eternal happiness and peace.

O Lord! May our ears listen to nothing but auspicious words, may our eyes see nothing but auspicious things, may we have healthy bodies and be blessed with long life.

May you be intelligent, provider of wealth and protector of the path of truth.

May all the scholars and great souls be in unison with each other and may we tread on the path accordingly.

May all the food I partake be pure.

May all our energies become one and may all the good thoughts come together and may we become the mightiest amongst the mighty.

May all nurture their children and grand children properly and be blessed with 100 years of healthy life.

May all have identical resolutions! May all have identical thoughts in their hearts! May the same thought pervades each mind,so that you work in unison!.

May we become the lord of virtuous power and strength.

May there be unison in the speech and action of humans. Only by this shall, unity emerge and serve each others purpose. The nation shall emerge stronger and mightier because of this.

One should eat nutritious food and exercise regularly to have sound health. Virtuous deeds performed with intelligence shall naturally bring good wealth.

One should constantly strive to acquire knowledge and by doing so one shall be praised and respected amongst by scholars.

One should be cautions not to speak anything that hurts others. Such kind of speech never helps but always brings destruction.

One should always strive for knowledge so that ignorance never touches him.

One should always speak the truth and tread incessantly on the path of righteousness.

One should always seek company of intelligent and the person with purity of thought.

One should always help the weak, the destitute and the impoverished.

One should always ensure a pure environment while making food. One should never prepare food with dirty hands. This could lead to a number of ailments and make the body weak.

One shall have to undergo suffering to reach truth. That is why it is said that truth is eternally victorious.

One ruins the mind if he or she indulges in bad deeds and ends up in misery.

One should strongly resent miserliness and indulge in charity because one can acquire the never-ending wealth of immortality by doing so.

One should strive to improve one's capabilities. One should enhance his abilities only in the positive direction.

One should strictly avoid stupid people and if one is forced to stay in their company, one should not emulate them, on the contrary one should strive to bring a change in them.

Only by indulging in good deeds can one expect good results.

Only by doing good can one benefit. Those who detach themselves from 'bad' and yearn for 'good',dedicate their lives to god and to the service of scholars shall be blessed.

Only by attaining knowledge can one become free from ignorance and eliminate his sins. Such a man dwells independently as his mind becomes free from fear.

Only that person is preferred as a leader, who adheres by laws and rules.

Only such a householder who practices restraint in taking care of his family shall acquire family happiness and achieve higher social status.

Only those who perform their duties promptly become successful.

Only the scholars are capable of judging the limits of a man's knowledge and his true worth.

Only the person having firm conviction and iron volition can attain strength and energy. At no stage of Karma does he ever hesitate.

From it the horses were born and all that have cutting teeth in both jaws. The cows were born from it, also. From it were born goats and sheep.

If a person becomes a fatalist and does not perform actions he shall literally acquire nothing.

If a householder moulds himself according to the circumstances just like nature moulds Herself according to seasons and performs his Karma then only shall he acquire happiness. One who does this successfully gains in all walks of life.

For the successful accomplishment of any work one needs sharp intellect and the will to perform relentless Karma.

God always blesses all the scholars and great souls with wisdom.

If the thought is pure then the deeds are definite to be pure and quite obviously the results are unquestionably excellent.

If we all perform our duties meticulously then we are surely on the path of prosperity.

He, who yearns for his goal with a firm mind and soul definitely attains his objective.

He who works diligently accomplishes his work with perfection.

He, whose friend is great, is himself great.

He (Indra) does not give an opportunity to the proud to acquire anything.

Good deeds yield good results and bad deeds yield bad results.

He should put in all efforts to increase his wealth and grain. He should only speak well about others. The person who does all these things always remains untouched by misery and dwells in happiness and peace.

Humans should do charity and do service to others.

Humans should always speak truth and should be committed towards it. Such a person is always immortal.

Harmony prevails if people of similar nature meet.

Knowledge is also the giver of wealth or rather wealth is the by-product of knowledge.

Knowledge increases his thinking capabilities and helps him in getting new and innovative ideas.After implementing those ideas successfully he earns wealth.

Knowledge makes capable of earning knowledge. It inspires us to perform actions and as a result one acquires desired wealth.

Knowledge makes a person famous and is helpful in achieving the desired goal.

Knowledge is the most important thing without which one can not achieve his goal.

Lack of faith, treachery, arguments and animosity only breed malevolence. It is in the best interest of all to avoid this and tread on the path of progress.

It is important for a person to remain healthy and sound because a healthy mind dwells in a healthy body.

It is in the best interest of the human beings to take inspiration from gods and work diligently towards their goal.

It is impossible for the fools to tread the path of learned ones.

Just as the Sun is respected for providing heat and energy to the world, in the same manner you too can attain respect in this world by acquiring knowledge.

People accept only that person as their leader who is radiant with good knowledge and karma (deeds).
