I'm disappointed with the loss, but we played the whole game and didn't let up. This was an exciting night. By playing this way, tonight, the kids showed that they're here to stay. We proved that we are a team to beat, that we are a contender.
We're disappointed obviously in our effort tonight. We came out sluggish. That's a good hockey team we played, and they just took it to us tonight. We couldn't work out of the funk.
We had some key injuries and made silly decisions in the beginning of the season. Lately it's been a consistent brand of hockey.
When we were preparing for this we focused on what we wanted to do. We wanted to get better at what we do. I'm disappointed, this is still a one-point night, but we'll play again and see each other again in the playoffs.
