We have a contract to fight Morales in September, but it's not a done deal because Morales doesn't want to fight at 130.

It's not a crying thing, but if Morales said it wasn't important, then why did they put it in the contract? Why wouldn't they let us fight with our gloves? It's obviously a concern to them.

He was a great story. But that is an anomaly. He presented himself as a cartoon character. He was a 50-year-old man proving he could still do it in the ring. All his kids were named George. People latched onto that.

If they (Mayorga-Piccirillo fight last Saturday) did more than 50,000 (pay per view buys), you got to believe Hasim Rahman-Monte Barrett did most of that.

Hopefully by early next week there will be more specifics. I'm hopeful the fight can be made.
